What is a communication starter ?

Deep dive cards has been designed to bring real conversations and open the clear channels of communication better the parties using these cards. A   communication starter   is a prompt or technique used to initiate a conversation, whether in personal or professional settings. It helps break the ice, encourages engagement, and can set the tone for a productive dialogue. Communication starters are particularly useful when the conversation might otherwise feel awkward, or when you want to encourage deeper discussion.

A deed dive card is really a communication starter.

Here are a few examples:

1.   Icebreaker Questions  : Simple, non-threatening questions to warm up a conversation. For example,  "What’s something exciting you’re working on this week?"  or  "How did you get started in your field?"

2.   Open-Ended Prompts  : Statements that invite the other person to share their thoughts or feelings. For instance,  "I’d love to hear your perspective on..."  or  "Can you tell me more about...?"

3.   Compliments or Observations  : Starting with something positive or an observation about the other person. For example,  "I really admire how you handled that project; what was your strategy?"  or  "I noticed you have a great way of connecting with people. How do you do it?"

4.   Shared Experiences  : Finding common ground to build on.  "I saw you were at the event last week. What did you think of the keynote speaker?"
